While at Big 4 and boutique accounting firms, I audited numerous businesses, gaining insight into their operations, accounting systems, and financials. I repeatedly noticed a lack of broad financial expertise when working with small businesses, and recognized the significant benefit such expertise could bring. Yet as an auditor, my ability to provide such value was limited. As I continued to work with small businesses, my appreciation for their unique challenges grew, fueling my desire to provide expert insight and partner closely with them. This ultimately led me to transition away from auditing and establish Finobo.

  

Accounting is considered the “language of business” and I love how a business’s financials provide a picture of its current state, a story over time, and insight into possibilities. A focus for each of my clients is to show the advantages of accounting expertise and how it can lead to decreased tax liability, informed decision-making, and effective strategizing.
